As a skip loader driver at GP Groot, you are an important link in our logistics chain and the face of our company. You drive a modern truck and make sure the containers are delivered on time and at the right location. Does this sound like the job for you? Then we are looking for you!

What will you do as a skip loader driver at GP Groot?

• Drive the skip loader truck safely and efficiently
  You place, exchange, and collect containers at customer locations and different sites.

• Work in a customer-focused way
  Our customers, mainly in the construction sector, rely on you for a reliable service.

• Check loads carefully
  You check every load for correctness and safety and make sure all administration related to trips and waste transport is completed correctly.

• Work locally
  As the work is mainly regional (Haarlem and Amsterdam area), you usually work between 06:30 and 17:00.

Customer focus is key

As a truck driver, you are the face of GP Groot. With your professional attitude and problem-solving mindset, you make sure every customer is satisfied and everything runs smoothly. Your effort and communication really make a difference!

Collaboration and communication

After a good onboarding period with a mentor driver, who will guide you in all tasks, you will work independently. You stay in close contact with planning and colleagues, so you can respond quickly to changes.

Even though you work independently in your truck, you are part of a close team with short communication lines. You regularly meet your colleagues during lunch.

Your impact

As a driver, you directly contribute to a circular economy. The materials you transport can be reused or recycled into new raw materials. This helps to keep materials valuable and reduces the use of new, scarce resources.

What do we offer?

• A good salary based on the Dutch collective labour agreement for transport (scale D): between €2,893 and €3,520 gross per month, depending on your age and experience

• Salary is paid on the 24th of every month

• Pension scheme, 25 vacation days and 4 additional days (ATV)

What do we expect from you?

• A valid C (E) driving license, Code 95 and driver card

• You work carefully and safely

• You are customer-friendly and communicate well

• You have a flexible and team-oriented attitude

• A VCA certificate or the willingness to obtain one
